How Can I Fix My One Ring of Death on My Xbox 360?

i have one light that turns red and on the screen it shows the error code E 73 and i dont know what i should do. i dnt have a warranty on it and i already broke the seal. i tried the towel trick but i dont think i did it right because it didnt work and i dnt think i should do the paper clip trick either. i dont know if i should trade it in or try to fix it. if u have a detailed way to do the towell trick or any good advice please answer.

Suggestion:

some people do the towel trick… my trick is buy a new one.. use the warranty… or simply call xbox and get a pepair
