Xbox Live Random Disconnects-ports Open, Nat Low?

Wireless Connection, Xbox 360, Wireless N Xbox 360 adapter, Linksys WRT160N router

After a long couple days researching/testing different things this is where I stand.

1) Random disconnects happen anywhere from 2 minutes to 30 minutes with no set pattern or frequency.

2) I have a static IP set up, all proper ports forwarded. The Xbox Live connection test on the counsel passes fine, I play multiplayer games with little to no lag until the abrupt disconnects.

After disconnects, Xbox is immediately able to reconnect and everything is back to normal.

3) Extended the refresh/reathentication to 7200 seconds on the router.

4) Bypassed router and went with direct ethernet connection, same problem persists

I'm about read to give up and just resign to the fact that I will be disconnected at random times and there is nothing I can do about it. Any ideas?

Suggestion:

if you have the wireless thing you can buy and plug in the back off the xbox, it will lag/ disconnect.
i myself have a bridged connection with three (yes three) wireless receivers on my pc, and im having small to little lag.

this happens often to me all the time. i just unplug the router wait 30 seconds and plug it in again and repairing the connection on the pc. if that doesent solve the problem, buy a new and better router.
linksys routers are know to have issues with xbox 360.

Thank you for the reply and the advice. After trying a new router the problem hasn't been an issue. No more cat6 running around the hallways :)
