Xbox 360 Question About Wireless Vs. Ethernet Cable…?

So, i got a xbox 360 elite a week ago and has been running fine. i didnt want to set up xbox live yet because i wanted to beat my games and that stuff…Im thinking of hokking it up this weekend but confusion has settled me on a controversy over ethrent cables or wireless..the "new generation" is wireless, but that doesnt mean it is better necessarily..I've read articles explaining speed differences, in that ethernet wins, and also the difference in chance of interruption , again ethernet wins..but cables and wires are messy and hard to work with…which doesnt bother me…That is one thing that ticks me off about the new slim, your paying for wireless you most likely wont even use…So what is your opinion, and what should i get…also, ive got a nice set up plan, which includes my ethernet cable running out side of my house…do you think they will be weather damaged???

Suggestion:

well i think you should go with the ethernet connection becuase like you said its faster and more reliable.

if you are going to run the cord around the house then make sure you have it covered with plastic or something that can protect it from the rain lol
