if you do need two ports why do you have to have internet and xbox live to play xbox live? thanks
Suggestion:
Here's your problem. With your one port, you would need to switch connections every time you wanna use one or the other. You can connect the ethernet cable to the back of your PC and bridge the connections if you want but that's no recommended.
