How Do You Set Up Xbox Live on Xbox 360?

I've bought a wireless adapter and it's picked up my bt homehub so ive typed in my wep key but then its asking me for an ip adress but ive set my adapter to find one itself but its not working. Any help?

Suggestion:

First try 192.168.2.1 (or even 192.168.1.1)

if both those dont work go to any computer on your network already and on the bottom menu click the start button then type in "run" and open the application Run

the lil box opens type in cmd and hit enter

then type in ipconfig /all and then scroll up looking for gateway address

then try that number and it should work.
