i am going to buy a new xbox 360 slim in about 2 weeks, and i am going to set it up in the living room, because its the best tv in our house, and i blew a fuse on the tv in my room any way. so my question is a) where do you have your xbox set up?
b) is it nessecary to get a tv in my room to play xbox with out getting kicked off by my mom, who mite wanna watch a movie or something in the living room

Well, my XBOX is set up in my living room and no I don't get kicked off by my mom…probably because I moved out and got married a long time ago and now live halfway across the world from my mom & dad, haha.
My wife, however, does …. actually…she doesn't kick me off my XBOX either – I am the king of this household, HAH!
Seriously tho, I suggest getting a TV in your own room. When I did live at home, it was a must, otherwise I would get kicked of the system if my parents wanted to watch TV (It was an NES tho, we didn't have XBOXs back then). . . .
