Confused About Xbox Live?
Hi everyone, I am currently thinking about obtaining an Xbox live gold membership. However I am rather confused about the whole process of setting up the membership, I know that I need to purchase a wireless adapter in order for my Xbox to connect to my router, I think I fully understand that part of the process. But now I need to get the member ship set up and running. All I see in the shops is a card that says 12 months gold membership and a certain amount of points, this is where I am confused, do I need to give bank details over or every 12 months do I need to purchase a new card and that will replenish my membership, also what is the purpose of the points, do they give me access to download things from Microsoft or what? If someone who has set up axbox live account knows what I am talking about could simply explain the process for me I would be very thankful. Thanks in advance

Very simple procedure my dude. Put your card on your account. Buy which ever membership you like. The 12 month will take all the money of what the price was of it right way. If you buy month-to-month it will charge you 9.99 a month. That's all man. Just fill in your details and stuff when you're making the account. Microsoft points are to buy things on xbox such as clothes for your avatar, arcade names, changing your gamertag, stuff like that. Hope this helped!
