Suggestion:
Well you can restart the computer which should work, but it would be better if you just hooked it up directly to the internet i.e. bypass computer. you can do this by A. getting a wireless adapter if you have wireless internet or B. hooking your xbox directly into wherever your computer hooks into. If wherever your computer hooks into only has 1 port then simply get like a 4 port hub

Just plug the ethernet cable into an ethernet port on the wall instead of through your computer or get a wireless adapter. If you can't be bothered to do that just restart your computer you couch potato, it only takes like a minute.
