Is It Safe to Buy an Xbox 360 Refurbished from a Game Store?

I know that there have been a lot of xbox 360 RRoD problems, but if I purchase a refurbished one, would I have the same problem?

Answer:

It was probrobly that stupid "BEN-Q" DVD-ROM drives they may have replaced or the legendary overheated video card slide from the motherboard. I'd say it's safe and fixed from a typical problem. You may wanna gaurentee for it though.
-Peace

p.s. don't move the 360 while it's on. Rings of death will also appear on the disc.. (90% unfixable)

DONT buy a second hand one from game jus buy a new one there only like £30 more and come with a 3 year warranty instaed of a 1 year warranty i bought a preowned one from game 2 years ago and it got the rrod 6 months later so i took it to game and they didnt hav any in stock so i had to wait 2 months for them to get it instock as the only other game shop around is 60 miles away

If you get it from a good shop, you will probably be able to take out a care plan, so if there are problems, they'll repair it for you.

And if it doesn't work when you get it, you'll get your money back anyway.

Try looking at reviews from the shop to see how reputable they are, and if they look, ok, go for it! :)
