I really don't know if I should get an Xbox 360 Elite or a PS3 Slim? Please Help!?

I can get either an xbox 360 elite or a ps3 slim. i really like how the ps3 has free online play but i like how the xbox 360 has better games such as halo. which one do you think is better and which one do you think i should get? Thank you
