I Am Soooooooo Confsed Please Help Xbox Help?

so my xbox 360 was not working and my dad rang the xbox company and they said it had something to the with cables so he checked it and plugged it in the tv in his room, it worked perfectly butt then he plugged it in my TV!!! and its not workingggg……… i am sooo confused. why is this??? what can i do?

Suggestion:

Alright when you say not working do you mean turning on the xbox 360 and having no lights except the green power light? If so then obiusly the tv is the problem haha duh. Its probably the inside parts of the holes where you connect the video and sound from the av cable. Your tv is broken from those.hope i helped.
