How Do I Log into Xbox Live, if I Signed Up Online?

I don't have an xbox, but I play with my boyfriend, on his. So I signed up for live, online… But when I tried to log in on the xbox, it said that I needed to sign up. I really want to be able to download demos and such, and sometimes I borrow his xbox to use at home. But if I can't log in, I don't know what to do. Can anyone help me, please?

Suggestion:

In the dashboard go to sign in, Recover Gamertag, Type in all the info they tell you to and you should have your xbox LIVE gamertag
