Help Me out Xbox 360 Owners!?
ok, so i got an xbox 360 and i got xbox games, once i figured out that xbox games dont work on an xbox 360 without a hardrive, i bought 1. i hooked it up and everything and then it said that my xbox 360 does not support these kinds of games. is there something im doing wrong, please help me if you can…

You need the backwards compatible update which you can get on Xbox Live or from http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardscompatibility.htm#disc . Also, you should check to see if the games you want to play on on the backwards compatible list. Not all are. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm

The latest 360 games have the firmware updates needed to run older games; most of the high dollar cutting edge games have the new firmware; so if you're dying to play darksiders, bayonetta, or lego rock band, this is your excuse.
Unfortunately, there are still a few original xbox games that just won't play. Wait 10 years; someone will program an emulator.
1. Click on the link to see if the games you want to play is on the list. If it's not, then the 360 can't play it.
2. If it's on the list, then get the latest update.
well it might just be that those games are not compatibal with ur syste only the old ones contact 1800-myxbox they might help you
