If you enjoy tanking and having most of the responsibility in a raid, then the WoW warrior might be the best class for you. However, they can be frustrating to level and take a lot of time. They also have no ability to heal themselves. However, there is the advantage now of having dual talents so you no longer have to be stuck in a particular role once you reach the maximum level.
The WoW Warrior differs from all the other classes in the game in a number of ways. Most notably, instead of using mana or energy, they use a system called rage. As a warrior fights, rage is built up to a maximum of 100 and this is then spent on a number of special abilities which you learn as you level up.
The three talent sets for warriors are arms, fury and protection. The first two are often popular in a hybrid specification when it comes to leveling and maximizing damage per second. The right specification in this respect can make the warrior one of the most powerful killing machines in the game.
Warriors are one of the few classes which are able to wear any kind of armor after level 40 and they may also be able to use any of the weapons except for wands. Depending on what sort of specification you choose, you may find it better to dual wield smaller weapons or to take a massive two handed axe or sword.
Warriors also have the advantage of being able to wear any kind of armor available in the game and they can also wield all the weapons available except for wands. You can also choose talents which allow you to dual wield effectively so you can play a bit more like a rogue. However, warriors are perhaps most effective when it comes to damage per second using a two handed weapon.
The primary reason of being a WoW warrior is tanking so if you don’t like tanking, then choosing to be a warrior might not be the best thing for you.
