With his new partner George, they set out to clean up the drug problems in the 21st. When they do, they find a lot of dirty cops are involved.
Executive Decision: A 747 with 400 passengers has been hi-jacked. One intelligence analyst thinks the terrorist plan to drop nerve gas on the nation’s capitol. If he is right, the plane must be stopped.
Mysterious Lady: An Austrian armed forces officer (Nagel) falls in love with Garbo, clueless that she’s a Russian agent. Another contrived plot made serviceable by Garbo herself. Cast includes Greta Garbo, Conrad Nagel, Gustav von Seyffertitz, Albert Pollet, and Edward Connelly. (96 minutes, 1928)
Saw Two: Sadistic continuation finds fiendish mastermind “Jigsaw” keeping a group of ‘outsiders’ prisoner in a spooky, booby trapped home. Lots of gore for the fans, as the sufferers race time as a fatal gas fills their lungs. Wahlberg is the lead cop on the case. Can he match brains with this twisted madman? Cast includes Darren Lynn Bousman, Donnie Wahlberg, Shawnee Smith, Tobin Bell, Frank G. Glenn Plummer, Dina Meyer, Emmanuel Vaugier, Beverley Mitchel, Erik Knudsen, and Tim Burd. (102 minutes, 2006)
The Eel: A businessman viciously kills his spouse after finding that she has been cheating on him. 8 years later, he is paroled from penitentiary, and can only connect to his pet eel, since it cannot betray him. Then he saves a female who has tried suicide after a poor relationship. Cast Koji Yakusho, Misa Shimizu, Fujio Tsuneta, Mitsuko Baisho, Akira Emoto, Sho Aikawa, and Ken Kobayashi. (117 minutes, 1977)
M: Fascinating, brilliant re-make of the Fritz Lang classic set in L.A., with Wayne as young killer being chased down by a group of mobsters. Cast includes David Wayne, Howard De Silva, Luther Adler, Karen Morley, Joy Cartright, Martin Gabel, and Norman Lloyd. (88 minutes, 1951)
Natural Born Killers: Mary Mallory is a teenager with an abusive father. After falling in love with Mickey, they viciously murder Mary’s parents. Now they are on the run along Rt. 666. As they run, they go on killing sprees, usually leaving one person alive that can recount the events. As time continues they become a media sensation, almost national heroes.
8 Percent Women: While a triumphant businessman is widowed, his child tries to help him through his misery by taking him on a sensual odyssey. The females range from a prior nun Collette to a horsewoman (Plummer) who wears a weird see through harness. Copious nudity couldn’t keep this from being a massive bore. Cast includes John Sitting, Matthew Delamere, Vivian Wu, Shizuka lnoh, Barbara Sarafian, Manna Fujiwara, and Polly Stroller. (121 minutes, 1999)
