You need to be at level 10 or above to participate in the mastery experience. Unfortunately any crops harvested prior to this level don’t count and neither do any of the crops you have planted and harvested prior to the mastery element coming aboard even if you are high up in the levels. Still it’s not hard to do. When you harvest a crop you get a point. If you look under your market tab at your seeds you will see three stars and a bar underneath. As you plant and harvest the bar will move along in a blue line until it reaches the end and then one of the stars will light up leaving you with just two more to set about achieving. When you have completed all three you will have an opportunity to get a premium crop which are bigger and better than the usual crops you grow. The other bonus here is that you will then get experience points (XP) for harvesting premium crops which will push you further and more quickly through the levels. For regular crops you don’t get any XP for harvesting.
For each level that you complete you get higher coins and XP amounts and after three you receive a sign to place on your farm stating that you are growing that particular premium crop. It’s good to brag! All crops have different level requirements before you can master it.
