Clubpenguin Medieval Party

Everyone who plays Club Penguin loves to go to the events and parties. There is usually at least one party planned in the game each month. These parties often follow a specific theme, such as the Halloween Party or Club Penguin Awards party. But one of the biggest and most anticipated parties of the year is the Club Penguin Medieval Party, which first happened in May, 2008 and then again in May, 2009. Almost all the different areas in the game are decorated especially for the party and there are a lot of Medieval-themed events and activities.

The very first Club Penguin Medieval Party happened between May 16 and May 25 in 2008. It quickly became one of the biggest, and most famous, parties in Club Penguin history. Almost all of the different rooms in Club Penguin were decorated with lots of special details. Some areas were turned into giant castles and some into deep dark underground dungeons. Of course, one of the most exciting parts of the event was the free item giveaway–something all Club Penguin parties have become very famous for. Two items were given out at this party, the blue wizard hat and the squire tunic.

Here are some of the Top Attractions from the 2008 Club Penguin Medieval Party

Dragon A giant dragon appeared inside the mines where penguins usually play the Cart Surfer game. You could control the dragon using a special device called the switchbox 3000, which most penguins know is the same device used to control the scenery at all the Club Penguin plays.

Magic Mirror There was a giant magic mirror on top of the ski hill. You could ask a question and then click on the mirror to get a “magic” answer.

Special Costumes In the Gift Shop’s catalog Penguin Style there was a dragon, knight and princess costume for member Penguins, medieval backgrounds and a note from the party committee about preparing for this party hidden behind the clothing catalog.

TreeTop Fort This new temporary room only appeared while the Medieval Party was going on. It was a place to hang out and enjoy the party. One fun feature was a hole in the tree where different Puffles would appear and make funny faces.

The 2009 Medieval Party

The 2009 edition of the Club Penguin Medieval Party will be held from May 8, 2009 through May 17, 2009. Club Penguin has only released a few details about the party but it looks to be as big, if not bigger than last year’s!
