Bad Santa: Willie Stokes has an interesting gig. Every year he works as Santa Clause on Christmas Eve. When the shops close, Willie and his partner make a big score by breaking into the safe.

Cuba: Entertaining venture film love tale has mercenary Connery reviving an old event with plant supervisor Adams, set contrary to the fall of Batista in late ’59. Controller Lester is in pretty excellent form, with most scenes punctua1ed by memorable throw away tads. Cast includes Sean Connery, Brooke Adams, Jack Weston, Hector Elizondo, and Denholm Elliott. The Bourne Ultimatum: In the third movie of the series, Jason Bourne is still being hunted by those who had trained him into the ultimate assassin that he is. Having lost his memory when almost being killed, Bourne is retracing his past to try to understand who he was, and why everyone wants him dead. All his skills are put to the test, as the C.I.A. is relentless in its effort to have him eliminated.

The Soft Skin: Moody story of wedded businessman drawn into disastrous event with attractive commercial airline stewardess; slick direction uplifts elementary structure. Cast includes Francois Truffaut, Francoise Dorleac, Jean Desailly, and Nelly Benedetti. (120 minutes, 1964)

The Night of The Locust: Phenomenal adaptation of Nathanael West’s cleaning novel in reference to Hollywood’s netherworld in 1930s, seen mainly through eyes of a youthful actor Atherton who finds little glamour and a lot of busted-down individuals in Tinsel-town. Cast includes Donald Sutherland, Karen Black, Burgess Meredith, and William Atherton. (144 minutes, 1975)

The Faculty: Something unimaginable is happening at Herrington High School. The teachers are having their bodies overtaken by aliens. As the alien invasion increases, it is up to six students to work together to save the school, and perhaps the world.
