E3 2016: LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Demo Lands Later on Xbox One

Posted by Ken Barnes

Warner Bros have confirmed that they'll be releasing a demo of LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens for Xbox One later on today.

Entitled The Niima Outpost Demo - because demos need titles now, apparently - the trial will allow players to join Rey, Finn, and BB-8 as they try to evade the First Order in their escape from Jakku. New features will be shown off as part of the trial, including utilising Multi-Builds to explore the wreckage of Imperial Star Destroyers and piloting the Millennium Falcom in dogfights against the enemy.

A new E3 trailer has been released for the game, which you can check out below.

The demo will go live at 3pm PDT (that's 11pm UK) and the game proper will release on June 28th on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
