Bethesda have released many new details about Imperial City, the upcoming first expansion pack for fantasy MMO The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.

The pack, when it is released at the end of the month, will allow players to explore the new Imperial City, a huge map that features six unique districts as well as dedicated PvP and PvE spaces. Also included in the bundle is the Xivkyn racial motif, new collectible pets and everything else detailed in the list below:

Imperial City DLC

  • All content is available to players that are level 10 and up
  • A brand new PvP/PvE space, including the six Imperial City Districts
  • New quests and key characters within the Imperial City
  • One new Imperial City PvP Public Dungeon: The Imperial Sewers
  • Two new PvE Imperial City group dungeons with Normal and Veteran versions: White-Gold Tower and Imperial City Prison
  • The Tel Var Stone system
  • 23 completely new Veteran Rank 16 item sets, only available in Imperial City
  • Treasure Vaults that contain new Veteran Rank 16 set jewelry and a chance for even rarer finds
  • Xivkyn racial motif style
  • New collectibles only available in Imperial City (pets, polymorphs, and a costume)

As previously reported, the DLC will launch with a massive game patch that will be available to everybody who owns Elder Scrolls Online. Bethesda have stated that they will release full patch notes closer to the time but you can see a list of the planned updates here.

The Imperial City will launch on Xbox One on September 16th, costing players 2,500 Crowns (Approximately £15 / $25) from the in-game Tamriel Unlimited Crown Store. ESO Plus members will be able to download the content free of charge.
