It appears that Super X, the team behind the next iteration of the assumed-dead Greg Hastings Paintball franchise, have confirmed that their new game will be coming to Xbox One.

Posted a few months ago on their Instagram account was a platform announcement shot, which confirms that Greg Hastings Paintball 3 will indeed be coming to Xbox One in due course. Since we try to cover every single Xbox One game available and en route, we thought we'd correct the oversight by posting about it now.

The game will have a focus on customisation, with things such as uniforms, goggles, guns, paint grenades and more being able to be switched out as you take head to the undergrowth to lay the splat down on your opponents. There will be licenced fields - such as Paintball Mirabel - and gear, as you can see below.

Greg Hastings Paintball 3 will look to overcome the poor critical performance of Greg Hastings Paintball 2 and get a little bit closer in terms of quality to the original Xbox's Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball Max'd. We'll see how it does when it releases, although there's no word on when that will be as yet.
