Warner Bros and TT Games have confirmed that they're working on two new LEGO titles to be released on Xbox One and Xbox 360 in 2015.
First up, to coincide with the release of the movie, LEGO Jurassic World is on the horizon. The game won't just feature the new movie storyline though. It'll contain plotlines and characters from Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park: The Lost World, Jurassic Park III, and the titular Jurassic World. No other details have been released, other than that the game will hit the shops for both systems in June.
Secondly, LEGO Marvel's Avengers is currently in development for both consoles, featuring characters and storylines from The Avengers movie, as well as the sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron. This one will be available later in the year.
Tom Stone, Managing Director at TT Games, said:
"This year will be the biggest yet for LEGO videogames with these incredible titles and several firsts for the series. TT Games are crafting humorous LEGO adventures, based on new stories and characters across some of the most well-known and iconic worlds."
David Haddad, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, added:
"The LEGO videogame franchise remains a cornerstone of our business, consistently delivering fun, engaging gameplay and remarkable humour both kids and adults love. We look forward to expanding the successful series with this very exciting line-up of new LEGO experiences for players of all ages to enjoy on console, handheld and mobile gaming devices."

Needs to have an open world city or town for me to even warrant a purchase.
The Avengers one is an instant purchase for me. Me and Mrs S absolutely love Marvel Superheroes and Batman 3.
Jurassic World one sounds intriguing and might be an opportunity for them to do something a little different like they did with The Hobbit... probably another purchase for me

Just shown my son this and he nearly wet himself. He's a massive superhero fan so I think avengers will be a day one on the One.

I thought I was done with LEGO games for a while, then comes Jurassic World. Dang it. I won't be able to resist that one. Nope, no way.
I really like the Lego games. I hope they do more than just the 2 movies for the Avengers as I feel that could be quite limiting compared with the marvel superheroes and Batman series.
I enjoyed the Jurassic Park movies too but not sure it lends itself that well to the Lego treatment. I can't help feel that it will be a bit of a step backwards too and don't recall the movies having a great range of characters either. Granted those other franchises (Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars etc) that have had the Lego treatment have also been good games but the other games with unique storylines like the Batman trilogy and marvel superheroes are better.
