Microsoft's Gamescom 2014 Press Conference has been and gone, and now that the dust has settled and we've had time to...ahhhh....breathe...we can sit back and take stock of what we saw.

The conference itself was mostly focused on games. No hardware spin-offs or new devices to fragment the marketplace. No system update talk. Just games, games, games. Alright, there were three new hardware bundles, the announcement of The Halo Channel, and confirmation that you'll be able to preorder and preinstall games on Xbox One soon.

Aside from THAT, though, the games came thick and fast. Don't believe us? Here's a list of what was shown.

  • Below
  • Blues and Bullets
  • Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
  • Dungeon of the Endless
  • Evolve
  • Fable Legends
  • FIFA 15
  • Forza Horizon 2
  • Funk of Titans
  • Ghost of a Tale
  • Goat Simulator
  • Gunscape
  • Halo 5: Guardians
  • Halo: Master Chief Collection
  • Massive Chalice
  • Inside
  • Knight Squad
  • Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime
  • #IDARB
  • No Time to Explain
  • Ori and The Blind Forest
  • Plague Inc: Evolved
  • Pneuma: Breath of Life
  • Quantum Break
  • Rise of The Tomb Raider
  • Rivals of Aether
  • ScreamRide
  • Smite
  • SlashDash
  • Space Engineers
  • Spectra
  • SpeedRunners
  • Sunset Overdrive
  • Superhot
  • The Escapists
  • Threes!
  • Volgarr The Viking

Oh, and a little bit of free DLC for Forza Motorsport 5 was confirmed (and released!) too.

You can find all the stories in our news section if you'd like a refresher of course, but what we want to know from you is simple. How would you rate the Microsoft Press Conference? By all means, let us know your thoughts in the comments, and leave a rating using the poll form below.

11/10 for the simple fact they mindf'ed me and other PS4 owners who wanted to play Rise of the Tomb Raider on PS4 the world over. Well played, MS, well played. And of course, Sony had no response just indie games and Bloodborne.

Microsoft made the people that bought a PS4 feel like crap, and that's saying ALOT! Excellent Gamescom, if Microsoft keeps getting the games, they will have no problem catching up with the PS4 sales, maybe even surpassing it in time.
