Same Battlefield, new stealth!

Visceral have debuted the first look at the single-player campaign for Battlefield: Hardline.

The 12-minute demo shown at EA's Gamescom briefing reveals many of the features and influence that make Hardline different from the rest of its Battlefiled brothers, including open-ended combat and stealth gameplay options. In the trailer, we meet the game's protagonist Nick Mendoza, who must escape from a enemy camp utilizing stealth tactics and high-octane gunplay combat.

You can see the full demo of Battlefield: Hardline below.

As well as showing the single player at the EA press conference, Visceral went on to reveal two
new modes for Battlefield: Hardline multiplayer.

I still think it should not have the Battlefield name in it. They could have easily just called this Hardline and made a new franchise and then advertised that it uses the Frost Engine. Game looks like it could be decent though.

@Generik Releasing Hardline as a new IP could work, but given game budgets these days a through the roof, tying Hardline to the Battlefield brand is basically better for sales.
