Destiny Beta Is Now Open To All

See you on the Crucible!

As of midnight July 25th (BST), the Destiny beta was opened up and made available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Xbox players on either format will need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to gain access, while PS4 players will need to be PS Plus members.

The announced came from Bungie, who are eager to increase player numbers in the beta while it lasts.

"The Beta has been eye-opening so far. We've watched the world of Destiny come to life. Guardians from every platform have arrived at the Tower from their battles in the wild," said Bungie. "We have watched your adventures with great interest, and listened to your feedback. Your missions have provided us with volumes of discoveries we can use to prepare for the launch of Destiny in September."

The Beta was previously only available to those who pre-ordered Destiny, who were each given three access codes, with two of them designed to be given away to friends. If you didn't have a code, now is your chance to play Destiny before it's released on September 9th.

HAH! I just told my buddy last night not to worry that it would probably go public in a day or so....Guess I was right.

Yay, I figured this would happen, I might give it a go just to see how the game is.
