Pops and locks in September 2nd

Microsoft has confirmed that forthcoming Xbox One title Dance Central Spotlight will launch on September 2nd via Xbox Live, for the princely sum of just $9.99.

The base download will come complete with the following ten tracks:-

Avicii – "Wake Me Up"
Cher Lloyd – "I Wish"
David Guetta ft. Sia – "Titanium"
Jason Derulo ft. 2 Chainz – "Talk Dirty"
Kid Ink ft. Chris Brown – "Show Me"
Lorde – “Royals”
OneRepublic – "Counting Stars"
Pharrell Williams – "Happy"
Rihanna – “Diamonds” ft. Justin Bieber – "#thatPOWER"

On top of that though, a bustling DLC store will also be available on launch day, containing more than 50 other tunes to download and get your shuffle on to. Five tracks have been confirmed as DLC so far:-

The B-52’s – “Love Shack”
Capital Cities – “Safe and Sound”
Emeli Sandé – “Next To Me”
Icona Pop ft. Charli XCX – “I Love It”
Lana Del Rey – “Summertime Sadness (Cedric Gervais Remix)”

And on top of THAT, all your add-on content that you previously purchased for Dance Central, Dance Central 2 or Dance Central 3 on Xbox 360 can be loaded into the new game. For $9.99, fans of the series are going to have an awful lot of moves to perfect, and that's before we consider the game's expanded Fitness Mode, which features fitness-specific dance routines created to assist with strength and cardio.

The Dance Central Spotlight will be on you from on September 2nd.

Oh, thank GOD! Finally, a game that I will actually use the Kinect for AND bring all my previous DC purchases to the XBO. Harmonix? Have I told you lately how much I love you?
