Could DrinkBox's Severed Reach Xbox Platforms Thanks to Kinect?

It looks to be a possibility
This news isn’t exactly new, but since we didn’t cover it when it first broke, and with Guacamelee currently in the spotlight as part of this month's Xbox One Games With Gold offer, we figured it’s a great time to bring it up.
Back in April, DrinkBox Studios – the developer of Guacamelee and Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack – announced their next game with a stylish and surreal concept video (see below). The game is called Severed, and it’s a first-person adventure about a distraught warrior lost in a fantastical, non-linear world. Because the gameplay is designed around touch-screen controls, we dismissed the idea that it would make an appearance on Xbox One or Xbox 360.
Well, it looks like we probably shouldn’t have done that.
What we somehow missed was this Destructoid article mentioning that DrinkBox is “open to the idea” of bringing Severed to Xbox platforms thanks to the motion-recognition capabilities of Kinect. There’s no hint at whether Xbox 360 or Xbox One would be the preferred console, but with a target release date of Spring 2015, we imagine the latter would be priority.
Keep in mind that Severed has NOT yet officially been announced for Xbox platforms, but it feels good to know that it’s a possibility. If the stellar quality of Guacamelee Super Turbo Championship Edition is any indication, DrinkBox Studios is only getting better at what they do, and we can't wait to see how this next one turns out. By the looks of the debut trailer, it's going to be one heck of a trippy and hypnotic ride.
What do you think? Would you like to see Severed come to Xbox One or Xbox 360, or do motion controls just not cut it for you? Let us know in the comments below.
