Forza 5 Gets Game of The Year Edition in July

Microsoft has confirmed that Forza Motorsport 5 will be getting a "Racing Game of The Year" re-release on July 22nd.

The pack will include the game itself, 18 tracks, and the Top Gear car pack, which features 10 downloadable cars. That seems a little light considering the waves of DLC that are available for the game, but hey.

Forza Motorsport 5: Racing Game of the Year Edition will cost $60, £50, or €70, depending on where you're located.

I had the Day One Edition and traded it in when they had a 20% trade-in bonus on Thief if I remember right.. been a while. Figured I would pick it back up at some point down the road on the cheap. But I just read a ton of details this morning on Forza Horizon 2 and it sounds like that is clearly the Forza game to wait for. If this had included all DLC content so far, I'd be on board possibly.

Sadly it seems this will be the best racing game 'release' this year that isn't Mario Kart 8. I heard the very discouraging news that Forza Horizon 2 is 1080p but only 30 frames per second. Just like with DriveClub, 30fps just ruins it.

@Generik Couldn't agree more. I sold my Day One Edition on ebay about 3 weeks in. FM5 left a bad taste in my mouth with the lack of content. The GOTY edition should have had all the dlc content and the original game should have a major price cut.
