E3 2014: Crackdown Returns Exclusively to Xbox One

Posted by Kathryn Johnston

Return to Pacific City.

Realtime Worlds' open world, third person shooter Crackdown will be making its return exclusively to Xbox One. Playing as a biologically enchanced Agent, players took on multiple crime lords and syndicates to save the city. Released back in 2007, critically acclaimed Crackdown sold 1.5 million copies in its first six months of release on Xbox 360. Series creator Dave Jones is back at the helm to bring the game into the next generation, and we'll bring you more as we have it.

Loved the first, didn't care for the second. But I don't think MS would be bringing this back if it didn't think it could deliver so I'm looking forward to its return.

^That's what I said last time...

That said, if this turns out even half as good as the original, it will be the first game Xbone has that I would want to play on one.

@CanisWolfred you must hate epic rpgs and fun games then, cause I seen alot of great stuff this year (minus Call of Duty #521...blah..,) and it just adds to the already amazing Xbox One line-up available.

I hope it a good mix of both the original and the 2nd one. I like the suits in the 2nd one, but I liked the gameplay in the first one more, either way, I cant wait to go back into this world.

Ok, another possible buy. Gotta check some gameplay of previous games and see what it's all about though...

@hydeks Way to make baseless assumptions, man. None of those RPGs you're talking about can't be bought on my PC or even the PS4, so I have no reason to care if they're on the Xbone. As for fun game, I won't pretend the Xbone doesn't have good games, but I do have my own tastes, and none of the Xbox One exclusives fit with them.
