Wolfenstein: The New Order Console Requirements Detailed

4 discs on Xbox 360

If you were expecting to simply jump right away into Wolfenstein: The New Order when it's released on the 20th of May, you may want to prepare yourself by clearing up some storage space first.

Bethesda posted on their blog the hard drive specifications for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions. A whopping 47GB installation is required for Wolfenstein to run on Xbox One. We assume this would apply for both physical copies and digital downloads. The Xbox 360 version is shipping on 4 discs, and an 8GB mandatory installation is needed from the first disc.

The blog also mentions that voice commands are supported through Kinect on Xbox One, although how they will be used have yet to be revealed at this point. For those worrying about lower resolution games on Xbox One when compared to PS4 can rest easy as Bethesda has confirmed it will be running at 1080p and 60fps.

47GB? Seriously? That's over 10% of the usable space on the XBone. Seems a bit out of control to me. Glad to read it will be running 1080p though. That may quiet the nerdrage for a few weeks at least!
