Take-Two Confirms Support for Red Dead, Fuels Rumours of E3 Showing

Not to get your hopes up, or anything...
The future of the utterly outstanding Red Dead franchise has been up in the air for a few years since the launch of the quite brilliant Red Dead Redemption back in 2010. At every trade show, someone pops up with a rumour that a new game is going to be announced, and it never happens.
However, with E3 just around the corner, Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick has given gamers as good a sign as they'll get that a new title is in development. Speaking at an analyst conference this week, Zelnick was discussing the various franchises that are part of the company's remit.
I pretty much know the ones that I can assure you are permanent. It's obvious that GTA is a permanent franchise as long as we keep delivering this incredible quality; it seems quite obvious that Red Dead is a permanent franchise.
This is the first real mention of Red Dead in quite a while, and certainly the first from anyone with any swing. Could it be that a new title is going to take the stage during one of the platform holder press conferences at E3? It would be highly unlikely that such a lucrative franchise would have any form of platform exclusivity, of course, but we'll take whatever we can get. We'd play it on a freakin' Ouya, in all honesty.
