Titled Xbox: Game On

Microsoft has announced today the date and time for their E3 media press briefing for Monday, June 9th at 9:30 a.m. PDT.

The annual event even boasts a bold new name: "Game On," where spectators will be "treated to everything from in-depth looks at previously announced games to trailers for our unannounced games coming in 2014 and beyond."

For those wanting to tune in at home, Microsoft will be streaming the whole thing live on Xbox.com, Xbox Live, and Windows Phone beginning a half-hour earlier with pre-show coverage. In Canada and U.S., Spike TV will broadcast the event at the same time.

Microsoft is also arranging "fan-centric" events before and after their press briefing in Los Angeles as well as for people watching online.

Each year, E3 somehow manages to sneak up on us. It's exciting to have Microsoft kick things off, and with Phil Spencer confirming a conference dedicated to the hardcore gamers, it's going to be a helluva show. We're hoping for some fresh new details on the next Halo, Fable Legends and Quantum Break, but we're also stoked for all new game announcements for both Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Here at Pure Xbox, you can expect extensive coverage on all the happenings that day. So for everything Xbox related, you're already at the right place.

Yeah, I'm excited to see what new exclusives are heading to X1 over the course of the next year or so. I have a feeling they're not going to disappoint.
