Out This Week: April 22nd (North America)

A lonely week

So you're browsing your local retailer's Xbox One and Xbox 360 section and have no idea what new games were released this week. No one seems willing to help and you feel alone and scared. Surely, there must be a way — an easy way — to get the info on the latest releases. Rest your worried head young Spartan, because at pX we got you covered on what's hitting retail stores and the Games Store.

Wow, you can almost see the tumbleweeds bouncing across your screen. Sadly to say, there are no major releases coming out on either Xbox One and Xbox 360 this week.

It isn't all barren though. A lone XBLA title is yours for the taking, if you dare.

Defense Technica (Cyberfront Korea Corporation / $9.99) - Tower Defense has never looked so intense! Dubbed as a "hardcore" tower defense game, this one tasks users to protect cores from biomechanical enemies from nearly every possible angle. PC owners have been enjoying it since its release in October last year, but now its Xbox owners to give it a whirl. Available April 23rd.

We're gonna pass on Defense Technica. We feel that we've definitely reached our quota of Xbox Arcade tower defense games for quite some time. We would need something truly innovative and new to entice us to come back to the genre. We are, however, eager for Child of Light to hit the digital store next week. Please be good, PLEASE be good.
