April Fools edition

So you're browsing your local retailer's Xbox One and Xbox 360 section and have no idea what new games were released this week. No one seems willing to help and you feel alone and scared. Surely, there must be a way — an easy way — to get the info on the latest releases. Rest your worried head young Spartan, because at pX we got you covered on what's hitting retail stores and the Games Store.

Well look at that — April is now upon us. And while people are running amok today with pranks and other shenanigans, the rest of the month is looking pretty appetizing for gamers. We just launched a preview of the games hitting the Xbox platforms for April, so make sure you take a gander at it.

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate — Deluxe Edition (Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment / $19.99) - For those that missed out on the handheld edition of Arkham Origins, now is your chance to right that wrong. This Deluxe Edition of the 2.5D side-scroller promises new HD visuals, new enemy encounters, maps and all the other bells and whistles associated to updated renditions to games that failed to sell well on other platforms. Available April 2nd

Yu-Gi-Oh! Millennium Duels (Konami Digital Entertainment / $9.99) - Details on this one are still scant, even though it was released last week but it looks like players will duel with each other online or through 4-player cooperative play. Available March 26th

Xbox One Retail

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate might be worth checking out if you still haven't got enough of the Arkham world. The rest of April is shaping up quite nicely though. Xbox 360 owners can finally see what the hubbub is all about when Titanfall shows up on April 8th alongside Kinect Sports Rivals, one of the earliest announced Xbox One games. Let us know in the comment section if you have any interest in this week's games.

@Tasuki — Not sure just yet, but we're looking into it. I have played the Vita version if you have any general questions not specific to the port.

@DRL: Not really any questions that you can answer I am afraid Dave. I heard that the Vita and 3DS versions had mixed review and I want to see how the console versions compare to the handheld and if it has the same amount of mixed reviews.
