Trials Fusion, 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil

So you're browsing your local retailer's Xbox One and Xbox 360 section and have no idea what new games were released this week. No one seems willing to help and you feel alone and scared. Surely, there must be a way — an easy way — to get the info on the latest releases. Rest your worried head young Spartan, because at pX we got you covered on what's hitting retail stores and the Games Store.

For fans of the Trials series, this is a week for celebration as the latest entry is finally being released. If you aren't a fan (or have yet to play any other past games), Trials Fusion is an excellent starting point.

Xbox One Retail

Trials Fusion (Ubisoft / $39.99) - The latest instalment of the ever popular Trials series extends to Xbox One, and we couldn't be any happier. New to the series is a full-blown track editor which means you'll now have the opportunity to create the wackiest and wildest course designs your brain can muster up. The retail edition also comes packaged with a season pass, so gamers will have access to all the downloadable goodies Ubisoft has to offer over the next year. We should have a review up shortly here at Pure Xbox. Available April 15th

Xbox 360 Retail

2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil (EA Sports / $59.99) - The real World Cup won't be kicking off until June 12th, but for soccer video game fans, it starts now. Improvements have been to made to dribbling and accuracy, and new modes like Road to Rio de Janerio should keep online players interested for some time. Available April 15th

Xbox Games Store

Trials Fusion (Ubisoft / $19.99) - For those that hate physical box art, Trials Fusion is also available digitally across both the 360 and X1 stores. It's important to know that while the downloadable version is significantly cheaper, a season pass is NOT included. Available April 16th

We've been pretty caught up with other games lately but Trials Fusion is one of our most anticipated titles of the year. Do you share the same enthusiasm for the franchise as we do or are you going to simulate your own FIFA World Cup scenario? Whatever if it, feel free to drop a comment down below.

I shall be picking up both FIFA World Cup on 360 and Trials Fusion on Xbox One. It's a good week for me - both games are right up my alley!

I was a bit surprised regarding the $40 price on Trials but the season pass does help explain that. The positive is that's a game I would want digitally so I can download it for $20 and tack on the additional content later. I'd guess the season pass will be $20 as well to keep it in line with the box version.
