Standby for Titanfall

So you're browsing your local retailer's Xbox One and Xbox 360 section and have no idea what new games were released this week. No one seems willing to help and you feel alone and scared. Surely, there must be a way — an easy way — to get the info on the latest releases. Rest your worried head young Spartan, because at pX we got you covered on what's hitting retail stores and the Games Store.

This week is probably the best week for game releases in 2014 so far. The Xbox One gets its killer app, while the Xbox 360 gets the sequel to one of the hardest games ever. Have fun!

Xbox One Retail

Titanfall (Electronic Arts / $59.99) - Wow, is it that time already? Today, Respawn's fast-paced, hectic, insane, bombastic, intense, mech-filled, jet-packed, FPS makes its titan-sized landing on Xbox One. We've been anticipating this day for a long time, and while we haven't played a retail copy yet, our time spent on the beta last month made us believers that this team can make the genre interesting again. Titanfall is also available digitally on the Xbox One Games Store and will take up approximately 20GB of your precious storage space. Available March 11th

Xbox 360 Retail

Dark Souls II (Namco Bandai Games / $59.99) - The sequel to one of the more punishing games on the 360 library is available today. Judging from the online reception, Dark Souls II is set to best the original game with many online sites applauding it for the challenging gameplay, item management and rewarding upgrades. Available March 11th

Can't wait to get a Xbox One with Titanfall! Hopefully by the time I do go to get it, it will have the 1080p patch fix out :-)
