Don't throw away that 360 just yet!

So you're browsing your local retailer's Xbox One and Xbox 360 section and have no idea what new games were released this week. No one seems willing to help and you feel alone and scared. Surely, there must be a way — an easy way — to get the info on the latest releases. Rest your worried head young Spartan, because at pX we got you covered on what's hitting retail stores and the Games Store.

Still not much happening in the world of Xbox except for one lonely XBLA release. Mind you, it's probably one you don't want to pass up.

Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD (Ubisoft / $19.99) - What was once a PlayStation Vita exclusive in 2012 has made its leap to the Xbox 360 today in a brand-spanking new HD attire. Liberation stars Aveline — a female assassin — worthy of the Creed name with equally brutal killing methods. If you still haven't had enough of ACIV, then make sure you purchase this one. The HD edition also boasts new missions, better audio and improved combat elements. Available January 15th

Having been only readily available on the Vita for quite some time, it is nice to see this overlooked side-story back on a home platform that makes sense. Also, if you already purchased the season pass for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag on Xbox 360, you instantly get a 25% discount off of Liberation HD. Not too shabby!
