Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Comes Out of Hiding in March

Phantom Pain still without date

The much-anticipated Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is coming to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 with its own exclusive content on March 18th, 2014. The release date was revealed after a 15 minute gameplay demonstration from Konami, which can be viewed below alongside another new trailer about the exclusive DLC on Xbox.

While both the PS3 and PS4 editions of Ground Zeroes include the ability to play as PSone Solid Snake as well as offering an exclusive mission, it seems like the Xbox versions won't be left in the dark either. A special mission called "Jamais Vu" featuring our favorite Cyborg psychopath, Raiden — who was last seen in this year's well-received Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance — will be available as DLC on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has been referred to as a prologue to the much meatier, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which currently does not have a confirmed release date yet. Hopefully by the time Ground Zeroes arrives in just over three months, the answer to that mystery will be solved.

It was previously confirmed that the Xbox One version will be priced at $29.99 and the Xbox 360 version at a lower $19.99, and that both will be available as a digital download.

Not real thrilled to see a $10 price difference between 360 and Xbox One versions of the same game. Also.. I'm wondering if releasing 7 days after Titanfall during a notoriously slow time for new games is really the best idea?

It's just bad when a game that isn't even released yet already has DLC announced.
Well, at least seems like a good game
