Shares first screenshot of next-gen golf game

After 15 years, EA Sports and Tiger Woods have decided to end their partnership. The news broke today by way of a blog post on the official EA Sports website.

"EA SPORTS and Tiger Woods have also made a mutual decision to end our partnership, which includes Tiger's named PGA TOUR golf game. We’ve always been big fans of Tiger and we wish him continued success in all his future endeavors."

The post goes on to state that EA "will continue to work with the PGA Tour exclusively to create groundbreaking golfing titles", but there was no further mention as to what the next installment will be titled, or who – if anyone – will take the cover spot.

EA also included an official screenshot depicting what their upcoming golf game will look like on next-gen consoles. Yeah, we've posted that about a centimeter lower than this text, and it's gorgeous.

How do you guys feel about this one? Are you upset to see the Tiger Woods name leave the series, or could you care less as long as EA continues to deliver quality golf games? Sink your thoughts into the comments box below.

Tiger was getting old anyway, its about the perfect time to move on. Hopefully they go back to the PGA Tour good ole' days. Maybe it's also time for Microsoft to bring back Links :)
