Games With Gold Reminder: Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas

Posted by Anthony Bacchus

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas

If you're an Xbox Live Gold member — and really, you SHOULD be — you can redeem your free digital copy of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas today, courtesy of Microsoft's Games with Gold initiative.

The 2006 FPS will remain a free download from now until September 30th, in which it will be replaced with a new Games on Demand or XBLA title. So far the service has made free Magic 2013, Dead Rising 2 and it's prologue chapter Case Zero, Crackdown, Assassin's Creed II, Defense Grid and Fable III.

Rainbow Six: Vegas will take up 6.60GB of hard drive space, so plan accordingly. Or, you can do what we do and simply start the download and cancel it immediately. That way, the game will always be in your Xbox 360 download history for safe keeping. Pretty sweet, huh?

Downloading for sure. I traded the game in a few years ago and never got around to re-buying it, but it is one of my favorite shooters this gen.
