Gamescom 2013: Xbox One Call of Duty Premium Bundle Confirmed

Posted by Ken Barnes

Dedicated servers, too!

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be available in a premium Xbox One console bundle, Microsoft has revealed.

The platform holder confirmed that the bundle will contain the Xbox One console complete with Kinect 2.0, a copy of Call of Duty Ghosts, and a batch of bonus DLC. The DLC - which will also be available for Xbox 360 and to non-bundle Xbox One owners - will be a timed exclusive for Microsoft.

In addition, Xbox One players will be able to take advantage of dedicated servers for the game - powered by the Xbox Cloud - so there'll be no more "host advantage" in this new version.

No release date or price has been confirmed for the bundle, but with the game set to drop on November 5th and the console also apparently due for launch in November, there's every possibility that we could be getting our hands on the Xbox One pretty early in the month.

Don't usually see bundles this early in a console's life anymore unless it's one put together by a store. I think it was an obvious, but smart, move on MS' part.
