Only made possible on next-gen

It just wouldn't be a console reveal without juggernaut EA making an appearance. Shortly after the announcement of the Xbox One, EA confirmed that Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14, NBA Live 14 and the new UFC will launch on the system within the next 12 calendar months.

All four titles will be powered with their new game engine called IGNITE which will further enhance the sports experience with "players who think, move, and behave like real athletes." The engine will also allow for more dynamic, living, breathing worlds.

“Through years of investment and innovation, we have built technology across EA SPORTS to create a game engine that will deliver stunning accuracy, realism and experiences that we previously could only dream about,” said Andrew Wilson, Executive Vice President and Head of EA SPORTS. “With EA SPORTS IGNITE and the power of next generation consoles, our games will come alive—with more authenticity, more emotion, more connectivity, and more fun.”

The official trailer was shown during the Xbox event proving the advancements in animation and physics although it would have been nice to see some actual gameplay. With that being said, it still looks impressive; You can take a look at the trailer for yourself below.

Interesting ideas. That's a cool way to do AI. Hopefully other devs follow suit.
Edit: I just read it isn't in-engine. The AI might be good, but it's a shame the graphics won't be like that.
