Square Enix Confirms

The worst-kept secret in the entire gaming industry has finally been shared with the whole world. It appears that the Thief franchise will be making an appearance on next-gen systems (including Xbox 720) in the form of....well....Thief.

No, not Thief 4. Just Thief.

Not much has been revealed about the game so far, aside from the fact that it stars Garrett, who returns to the City in order to carry out his thiefly duties, and that the game is played from a first-person perspective. Game Informer have the title on their cover this month, and promise to bring the world more information throughout April.

We'd be massively surprised if we didn't see this at the unveil of the next Xbox.
