Gears Takes Top Spot

Lara down to second place

Gears of War: Judgment has taken the top spot in the UK All Formats Chart, marking the end of Lara Croft's two-week reign at the top, and presenting Microsoft with their first top billing of the year.

After a 44% drop in sales week-on-week, Tomb Raider slips to second position, ahead of another new entry in the form of Activision's The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.

FIFA 13 climbs to number 4, making it 26 consecutive weeks in the top 6 for EA's evergreen franchise, while the Wii U and 3DS title Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is the only other new entry, debuting at number 7.

Thought Tomb Raider would stay at the top for one more week before Bioshock takes over but I like Judgment a lot and it's nice to see it sell well.
