Sonic and Tails Finally Hold Hands in Sonic Free Riders

Tension melts away in new screenshots
Okay, so it's not really hand-holding, it's the Tag mode in Sega's upcoming Sonic Free Riders, a multiplayer mode that lets two hoverboarders team up in the game.
We saw the Tag mode in action in this Japanese Sonic Free Riders trailer at around the 2:00 mark, along with the Synchro Play feature that rates you and a partner on how synchronised your movements are, but it's not all peaceful co-existence in the world of Sonic Free Riders: there's traditional competitive multiplayer as well, with a range of attacks as seen in this weapons trailer.
Sonic Free Riders is out this Thursday. Will you be picking it up?

This game seems debatable. The swimming looks out of place, but overall it looks pretty good. I also like how if you move your hand out, the character will too so you can grab some extra rings.

First reviews of the game are positive. It actually looks like a good time. I again dont think you can control acceleration and/or braking but with this title it looks like you will be doing so much you wont care lol.
