Following its successful launch across North America last week, Kinect prepares to storm Europe from midnight tonight, with thousands of stores across the continent opening at the stroke of 12 to let gamers get their hands on the sensor.

Many stores are operating on enough stock for pre-orders only, so it might be a wise idea to contact your local store before heading out in the freezing cold only to trudge home disappointed.

The official UK Kinect launch kicks off tonight at the GAME flagship store on Oxford Street with the promise of surprises, Video Kinect chats with secret guests.
