"..But then I took an arrow to the kneee...."

Oh wait, wrong game. Still the best dialogue though.

I heard the occasional "I'll rip off your head and p*** down your neck" from the guards. LOL It really seems to be a well thought out game in all apsects. Hats off to Project Red.

This must be one of the stingiest games for doling out achievements I've ever played... put over 50 hours into this now and only got a handful to show for it.

Still loving it though - I'm currently at level 15 with one notch on my bedpost and the last thing I did was take part in a theatrical play!

Were you as wooden in it as I was?

Try dark souls 2, one of the achievements requires almost 3 playthroughs. Also, ESO doesn't exactly dole them out. One of them is going to be like rocking horse do-do (becoming Emperor) only a handful every couple of months.

Oh yeah, instead of just acting like myself I turned into a plank and was talking like I was reading my lines for the first time lol. I did get one more cheevo last night for finally managing to track down Dandelion after what seemed like an eternity chasing my tail...

Anyone else get audio stuttering in this from time to time? Can last anything from a couple of seconds up to a fair bit longer (which is very annoying). Doesn't seem to be any pattern to it, can be during action sequences or just during a scripted conversation. Mine has been doing it for ages and nothing seems to cure it. Not a major problem but it does spoil those moments when it occurs.

I've just made the (expensive) trip to Skellige... funny how a trip across water to an island off the west coast mirrors real life in that everyone is speaking with a strong Northern Irish accent

I haven't noticed any problems with the sound myself - the odd stutter with visuals....

You can find the Boatkeeper to get your money back in Skellige too

Finally finished the main story line - but I did do all the Witcher Contracts, All Treasure Hunts - well apart from the new (but I am sure was in the game before) Wolf set, majority of Side Quests - Apart from any Gwent, Horse Racing and Fist Fighting on Blood and Broken Bones Difficulty. Still have a LOT of '?'s' to find - especially the ones at sea on Skellige but with Batman due on Tuesday, they can wait.... Also want to try a few alternative choices and maybe the 'Death March' difficulty too..

Overall a great game and highly recommended

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...

I've only had a problem with the gfx when I first played the game... the opening scenes lagged appallingly but since one of the patches that has been fine. It's just a sound lagging issue for me for me...

Thanks for the money back tip - can you remember whereabouts the boatkeeper was by any chance

Anyone still playing this? If so you might be interested to know there's a new mission DLC out this week - 'Where the Cat and the Wolf play'.

Given that I've nearly exhausted all of the missions in the game I'm really looking forward to this one and it's free too

I haven't played this since I completed the Story and have moved onto Arkham Knight. I haven't downloaded last weeks yet either but I will be returning at some point to try these. I can't be bothered to do the 'Gwent, Racing and Fist fight quests and that's all I have left - well apart from this new DLC quest...

Not been doing those myself either... just the Contracts and secondary quests. Last weeks Skelliges Most Wanted mission was pretty cool... without spoiling things its affected by past choices you've made during the rest of the game.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been distracted by Lego Marvel (Birthday present) then Batman arrived. I've played nothing else since the 23rd, but will definitely be going back to the Witcher as it's a great game!

Yeah, I am going to try to play this. I have a 3 month old that doesn't allow me much time to play this or any game in general right now though! It seems like he is asleep and I sit down to play and 5 minutes later is waking up again.

So 200+ hours of 5 minute sessions equates to 2400+ sessions. Good luck

@Ryno: Its not a game that you can play in short bursts. Some of he dialogue options take longer than 5 mins and you can't even travel the length or breadth of some of the areas in that time either let alone do anything meaningful. its one of those games you sit down to play and then realise several hours have gone by and all you've down is few minor side-quests and gathered a few herbs en-route. It's easy to spend longer than 5mins just admiring the sunsets and views let alone actually play...

Ha! Well being able to actually play The Witcher III will be motivation to get my son sleep trained ASAP. I'm no completionist either so I don't plan on putting 200 hours into it. Longest I have ever played a single game was around 80 hours with Xenoblade.
