Yeah I've just been scouring my inventory looking for the armour.... bit of a con having to 'buy' them using in-game currency, especially as I've not got much lol

I think the items should be added to your inventory or at least some notification to say you can pick it up from a certain point for free. Maybe a noticeboard letter to mention it from Kaer Morhen (home/training ground of the Wolf Witcher) to keep the illusion (rather than just turn up in your inventory) as a gift from them The way this has been done, its very easy to think it was in the game already, miss it completely and/or be very cynical about the other 14 pieces due...
A pessimist is just an optimist with experience!
Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??
Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...
This'll be the first time they've made DLC. Previous games, what you bought was it.
Well they did do an 'Enhanced' version that was released on the XB360 with the extra content - Those that had the PC version (non-enhanced) had this extra content given free so effectively did get DLC...

I still haven't managed to scrape together enough in-game money to buy all the DLC... I've managed to get some of the horse stuff - one of which allows you to carry more junk around which was a good investment but the rest still eludes me...
Ah but that implies I had money to spend in the first place... I've bought virtually nothing so far except some of the DLC. All my weapons, clothing and even food have been scavenged off corpses and stolen from peoples houses. My Geralt is looking and smelling like a tramp right now lol
Haven't played much, just killed the griffin, still trying to finish off Borderlands Prequel. Usual stuff, do everything there is to do. If you're desperate, gather ingredients and sell them (or make potions and sell them, whichever nets more). In the previous games, you could make some money playing dice poker, don't know how that stacks up this time with the card game as I haven't tried it yet. Early on, money is usually hard to come by and spending it early may make life difficult later on when other good stuff becomes available. Trouble is, you don't really know what's valuable later on (needed for upgrades). I always treat the first run through as a learning experience so tend not to spend money or use materials early on. That way, I know for the Next (hard) play through what to upgrade, what to ignore, where to spend points. With a 200+'hours game though, don't know WHEN I will find the time for multiple playthroughs with the time sink that is ESO coming soon.
I cannot even play the game now. It's stuck on the title screen where you press X... just saying 'please wait'... forever. Tried umpteen times now.
My xbox decided it was time to update in the middle of a bloody mission last night but it seemed ok when I eventually loaded it back up to continue but now this happens...
Looks like I'm going to have to try deleting and re-downloading the game. Anyone else having issues today?
@Stylon I've been collecting everything I find (rusty swords, etc) and selling it. I've not even found the DLC armour so not bothered saving yet. I'm playing Blood n Bones difficulty so health doesn't regen, so most of my coin is spent on food after I get a kicking LOL
@BAMozzy It's definitely a nice touch. I've bought Ltd Eds with similar content for more £'s.
SPOILER ALERT DO NOT READ ON UNLESS INTERESTED
Probably something everyone knows, but check out the building in the graveyard on the 1st level. Once you've beaten the ghosty, zap the door off, go downstairs and explore everything! Lvl 4 sword to be had.

Had the exact same problem today when the Wife started playing today. Did a reboot and its working fine now.
You don't stop gaming because you get old, you get old because you stop gaming.

Is this when you manually save or load up a manual save point?
CD Projekt Red are aware of this issue and provided a quick fix:
Please try clearing the cache as instructed below:
Power down your console
Unplug the power cable from the back of the Xbox One.
Wait for two minutes
Plug the power cable back into the back of the Xbox One
Monitor the power brick, waiting for it to cycle from a white light to an orange light
Turn the power on.
This will perform a hard reset of the system.
CD Projekt have said a patch is due next week so hopefully this will sort this out. In truth I haven't experienced this but its obviously affecting some...

I've had this happen a couple of times now. Just a bog-standard reboot on the console fixed it.

Had a new problem tonight - game refused to save manually and doesn't seem to have auto saved at all - all evening. If I end up losing all the stuff I've done tonight I'm going to be well pissed tomorrow.
