Topic: Preview Program Invitation Request

Where should I be checking, I've been looking into the messages on the friends tab.

@rlee790 yeah, that's where it should be. If @ZeD 's took 14 days yours should be within the next 24-48 hours. No guarantee though.

Lol no worries, I have the time. Anyone heard anything about ARK coming to the preview program this winter?

Thanks again to @designateturian for the invite. I got my program all set up the other night after being accepted finally.
Just in time too, from what I hear they are scaling back participants.

Makes sense that they would, otherwise there would be no point in the preview program for testing if they just gave it out to everyone.

@Syclone: have you had an update yet? I'm part of the preview but have not had a test build yet. Odd

Nope, not last I checked. I saw the one survey that asks for you to get the update but it isn't available. It told me to check back. This was only yesterday for me though.

I'm new to this sort of thing but getting an xbox one in few days still stuck on xbox 360 any chance of an invite are am I to late gt jedijohn80 thanks in advance

Hey all, I'm starting to get a few requests to join the preview program via my Xbox Message app rather than via the forum. I'm assuming that people have noted that I'm inviting people to the program and messaged me on the sly so I am slightly uncomfortable with random people messaging me at 03:30 in the morning asking for an invite (the buzz has now been deactivated on my phone so I won't wake up if that does happen! ALSO, buy me dinner first).

It's great that this thread is a focal point for new viewers so don't take my grumbling as the rod that beat the child but encouragement to continue viewing this and other great topics on our forums. But there is a difference between watching and participating which is where I want to focus and so I am introducing a requirment for an invite to the preview program:

You must post on this thread to be considered for an invite.

If you want to play with our toys you're going to have to join the club. This advice extends to other members of this forum: if you recieve random requests for invites please direct them here.

Note that we are not official staff on the Xbox Preview Program and therefore cannot guarantee you a place in the program.
In addition Microsoft has started to limit the number of people joining the preview program and several forumites have posted that their invites have been delayed by up to 2 weeks if they have been recieved at all.

TL:DR Randomly messaging forumites for invites on Xbox will not be honoured you must post in this thread to be considered. We are not official Xbox staff nor are we officially affiliated so we cannot guarantee that which is already limited and increasingly rare.
