I have been wondering about recently released games on Xbox 360 that use the Xbox 360 Vision Camera for selected features like gameface ect, and I'm left wondering why KINECT is not used for these features.
Games like: Need For Speed Hot Pursuit
EA MMA
Fifa 2011 So do you think Microsoft will let games developers use KINECT for these features in the future?

I can't see why not, I'd imagine at the moment however that the lords of Microsoft are being quite careful who they allow to integrate Kinect. After all, they will want to prove that the tech works for it's intended purpose and not focus on it as a glorified camera. I just wonder when the first XBLA game which supports Kinect will be announced :-)

I just want to be able to use the gameface feature in stuff like FIFA 2011, NFS:Hot Pursuit and EA MMA

I think World Of Keflings makes a lot of sense. Kingdom was launched with the NXE and Avatars - so it only seems appropriate they use that franchise for Kinect support. I can think of some cool implimentations of it with that game. As long as you can still also use the controller to navigate your avatar.

I think it's bizarre that the Kinect isn't a camera too, for those games. You can't even use it to take a picture to send to a friend. Strange.

I have used the Kinect to send pictures to friends. I use it all the time for Video chat and to send pictures to friends.

Thats something I'd like to see as well. The Vision camera is a mostly dead peripheral - it's consigned use is to idiots on Uno. I'm sure that MS can see the potential in using Kinect as more than a virtual controller and it's use in face mapping would be a good choice. They promoted it's ability to scan objects early on - and Kinect Joy Ride has this ability - but its early days yet. I'm sure we'll here more at their X11 event or E3.

The Scene It! series should use kinect. It makes perfect sense to me. Also it would open new possibilities for game types.

I'd love a Scene It! that used Kinect. I've played that game a lot and more content is always welcomed!

Whenever I have friends over we play that. It helps Most of us are film students/ movie buffs.
But it just seems natural.
Just like DLC for the game... which hasn't happened either.
